July 4th is a time of family, friends, fireworks, food, and fun! And at Skamania Lodge we have all of it and more! There is going to be so much to do at Skamania Lodge on 4th of July weekend that you almost won’t know what to choose. But no worries we are going to make it easy. Do it all, or nothing at all but either way this is the place you want to be.
To start the weekend, Friday July 1st we are having a concert featuring 133rd Army National Guard Band. This complimentary concert will be something to make time for. Sit back, relax and enjoy the sounds of this diverse band ensemble.
The rest of the weekend will continue with, you called it, more fun! Our Raptor Adventures is here each weekend and will amaze you all with their magnificent birds and knowledge.
Take a trip to our game room, or join in to one of our craft activities. Anyone up for some Tie Dye? This perfect family activity will entertain the kids and allow the parents the joy of watching while we take care of the mess!
Spend some time outdoors when we pull out the croquet set for some family challenges, or take a trip to our golf course to try out our putting course; you may even win a prize! Provide us with your score and we’ll announce the daily winners each evening throughout the weekend. So do your best and let’s see who wins some prizes.
July 3rd will feature a lodge favorite; Moe Dixon is back again to please the crowd. He will be playing out on our front lawn and let me just say you want to get there and find a seat! Moe Dixon is known as a singer, songwriter and guitar wizard. This is a complimentary concert and one that is family friendly. He will get you singing along or up dancing in no time!
And to finish off this spectacular holiday weekend Monday the 4th will feature even more crafts, outdoor fun, and yet another concert! This one is the kick off to our summer concert series starring Patrick Lamb. A fireworks show will be going off from the fairground just down the road and our front lawn is a perfect place to watch. Fireworks start around 10pm so make sure to grab a blanket, and find your spot. And the perfect way to end a holiday weekend in the summer is with a final treat. Why not enjoy a S’more or two with your family and friends at our firepit on the front lawn.
We hope you choose to join us. It is going to be a great holiday weekend with plenty to do and many ways to have fun and relax for all ages and everyone you know.
