The Gorge and local rivers are well known for great windsurfing, whitewater rafting, kayaking and fishing for Salmon, Steelhead & Sturgeon. Bicycle riding is another favorite activity in the area. If you are a winter sports enthusiast, you find an array of snowshoeing, cross country skiing and downhill skiing and snowboarding on Mt. Hood.

On property at Skamania Lodge includes hiking trails, golf, mountain bikes, volleyball basketball and Tennis courts.

 

This lodge is one of the friendliest places I know. Everyone seems to genuinely enjoy working there and doing whatever they can to assist the guests.
