The History of Washington State's Skamania Lodge
Skamania Lodge is rich in history. While the lodge was built in 1993, a relatively new structure by today's standards, the architectural elements and materials have roots dating back to the eighteen and nineteen hundreds. We are proud residents of Skamania County and wanted to share our story with you.

Just a short walk from Skamania Lodge you will find a must see when visiting Skamania County – The Columbia Gorge Interpretive Center. The center is filled with the history of Skamania County and the Columbia River Gorge. Its mission is to bring to life the human stories and natural history of one of our nation’s most compelling landscapes.
