  • Spring Break Activities for Sunday, April 13th

    When: 04/13/2014

    Making Memories Workshop (Pet rocks- animals of the gorge) 10am-11am Go for a fun, short hike to find a rock to paint and decorate into your favorite animal. $5 per person.

    USFS Activity: Animal Thumbprint Art 10am- 12pm Learn about some of the animals that live in the Columbia Gorge and make a piece of unique art to take home.

    USFS Activity: Leave no trace activity table 10am- 12pm Is it ok to leave your banana peel on the trail? It will decompose, right? Find out why you should pack out everything you pack in!

    Mooseface Photo Booth – All day event. Put your best moose smile forward and come take a photo in front of our moose antlers located in the lobby across from the front desk. Funny props and someone to help take your picture will be available.

    Game Room – All Day

    Geocaching- All day event

    Spring word scramble: anytime at the front desk

    Kids Movie Night 5:30pm-7:30pm A family friendly movie will be shown in one of the conference rooms.  Movie TBD.

    Date Night Movies 8pm-10pm Movies, including thrillers, comedies, and romantic movies will be shown in one of the conference rooms.  Movie TBD. 

    Always at the US Forest Service desk:

    Spring Scavenger Hunt- Spring has sprung! Win Smokey Bear prizes for finding signs of spring as you walk one of the trails on-site.  

    Indoor Skamania Lodge Scavenger Hunt- There are animals loose in the lodge! Find them and win a Smokey Bear prize!
