CHALLENGING PLAY IS GUARANTEED AT SKAMANIA LODGE’S GOLF COURSE
Pacific Northwest Resort Offers Golfers Seasonal Deals
Stevenson, Wash. – (March 4, 2010) – Skamania Lodge, an all-season mountain resort located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, announces new incentives at its award-winning Golf Course that encourage golfers to play, rain or shine.
With the Skamania Challenge, golfers who score their handicap or better will receive their next round of golf for free. The Skamania Guarantee urges golfers to play in all weather conditions by offering half price golf and a commemorative umbrella to players when rain creates standing water on the fairway or green after tee off.
“The long and narrow Golf Course at Skamania Lodge can be challenging, but it’s also part of the fun,” said Scott Spann, general manager of Skamania Lodge. “These deals are a great incentive for golfers at all skill levels to get out and play.”
The Golf Course at Skamania Lodge is an 18-hole, par-70 course located on the resort’s 175 wooded acres. Boasting breathtaking views of the Pacific Northwest landscape, the Golf Course’s services include a driving range, practice bunker, chipping and putting greens, full-service golf shop, cart rentals and an onsite staff of PGA professionals. Rated as a four-star course by Golf Digest magazine in its 2008 “Best Places to Play,” and named by Golf for Women magazine as one of the “Top 100 Courses” in 2009, the Golf Course at Skamania Lodge provides an enticing challenge to experienced players.
The Skamania Lodge Golf Course’s rates start at $40, depending on the month and time of the day. All rates are per person for 18-holes and include a golf cart, a sleeve of logo balls and a bottle of water. Rental clubs are also available. The Golf Course’s dress code requires collared shirts and does not permit denim or alternative spikes. For more information and to view a course map, visit www.skamania.com. Call (800) 293-0418 for reservations and tee times.
