Destination Hotels & Resorts Launches New Culinary Series
Chefs Share Cooking Techniques, Recipes and Perspectives on Food
Englewood, Colo. – April 2, 2013 – Destination Hotels & Resorts announces the launch of “The Study Of…” culinary series featuring an imaginative exploration of food. This culinary program, led by the chefs within the Destination® Culinary Collection, unveils and examines a new ingredient each quarter. Throughout the series, Destination chefs will share tricks of the trade and favorite recipes. The Destination Culinary Collection includes 35 distinctive chef-driven restaurants throughout the United States.
“The Study Of…” website presents an in-depth exploration of a featured ingredient, recipes and drink pairings, cooking tips and video demonstrations from Destination’s chefs. The first ingredient to be featured is salmon, with recipes, tips and video demonstrations from Executive Chef, Rodney Herwerth, of The Inverness Hotel; Executive Chef, Josh Berry, of Stowe Mountain Lodge; and Sous Chef, Rebecca Merhej, of Terranea Resort. The ingredient changes every three months when a new trio of chefs steps up to share their own culinary perspective on the featured ingredient.
“At the core of the Destination Culinary Collection is a passion for food and one-of-a-kind culinary experiences,” said Mitch Mehr, vice president, food and beverage operations for Destination Hotels & Resorts. “This new culinary series allows our chefs to share their distinct culinary styles, techniques and recipes.”
