Heatin' Up Winter Romance: Skamania Lodge Celebrates Valentine's Day All Month Long

February as Romance Month offering four romantic getaway packages

Stevenson, Wash. - (December 19, 2008) - Skamania Lodge, an all-season mountain resort in the Columbia River Gorge managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, invites couples to celebrate Valentine's Day throughout the month of February with four "Romance Month" packages. Skamania's Romance Month packages, the Ultimate Romance, Romance Bed & Breakfast, Date Night and Relaxation Retreat for Two, highlight a variety of amenities from couple's spa treatments, in-room nightcap beverages and hand-dipped strawberries to freshly popped popcorn, in-room movies and dining credits at the Lodge's Cascade Room or River Rock Lounge.

            The Ultimate Romance package includes overnight accommodations for two in a scenic River View guestroom, $70 credit for a romantic dinner in the Cascade Room, hand-dipped chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne or cider delivered by room service.  Couples will also enjoy a $180 credit for spa treatments in the Waterleaf Spa, two plush terry cloth robes and a bouquet of six roses.

            The Romance Bed & Breakfast package includes overnight accommodations for two in a Superior Forest View guestroom, turn-down service and a signature Skamania Lodge nightcap beverage delivered in-room with Moonstruck chocolate and a single long-stemmed rose.  The Romance Bed & Breakfast package also includes a $30 certificate for breakfast that can be enjoyed in the Cascade Room or through room service and a late checkout at 2 p.m.

            The Date Night package includes overnight accommodations for two in a Superior Forest View guestroom and a $66 certificate for dinner in either the Cascade Room or the River Rock Lounge.  Couples will also enjoy freshly popped popcorn, sodas and an in-room movie.

            The Relaxation Retreat for Two package includes overnight accommodations for two in a Superior Forest View guestroom and a 50-minute couple's massage at the Waterleaf Spa, including access to the Spa's newly installed saline mineral indoor swimming pools and whirlpools.
