SKAMANIA LODGE APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR OF SALES AND MARKETING
Chris Kerr Fills Role
Stevenson, Wash. – (December 21, 2010) – Skamania Lodge, an all-season mountain resort located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, is pleased to announce the appointment of Chris Kerr as director of sales and marketing. Kerr, a hospitality industry veteran with more than 22 years of experience, will oversee all sales and marketing efforts and develop event programming that further establishes Skamania Lodge as a premier leisure destination and conference center in the Pacific Northwest.

Kerr’s lengthy hospitality career includes more than 18 years of sales and marketing experience in management roles. Most recently, Kerr was the director of sales and marketing at the Fairmont Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Ariz.  Prior to that, he held sales and marketing management positions at Hyatt Regency locations in Rosemont, Ill.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Bellevue, Wash.; San Antonio, Texas and Burlingame, Calif. Kerr earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fresno State University.
