SKAMANIA LODGE OFFERS SIGNIFICANT SAVINGS FOR SUMMER GROUP MEETINGS

IACC Certified Resort Provides Discounts on Rooms and Services

Stevenson, Wash. - (April 19, 2010) - Skamania Lodge, an all-season mountain resort and conference center located in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, announces a host of summer savings available for group meetings and incentives for planners. 

Skamania’s Summer Savings for meetings include a room rate of $129 per night for planners who book a meeting between now and May 31, 2010 for specially selected summer dates. In addition, planners will receive three upgraded guest rooms per night over the course of their meeting and discounts of 10 percent off banquet food and beverage costs and 10 percent off Audio-Visual equipment. 

Skamania’s Summer Savings are only available for meetings held on the following select dates in 2010:

• Tuesday, June 29 - Thursday, July 1
• Monday, July 5 – Thursday, July 8
• Sunday, July 25 – Thursday, July 29
• Tuesday, August 3 – Thursday, August 5
• Sunday, August 15 – Wednesday, August 18
• Sunday, August 29 – Thursday, September 2 

As the premier International Association of Conference Centers (IACC) certified conference center in the Northwest, Skamania Lodge offers 23 state-of-the-art meeting rooms with more than 22,000-square feet of meeting space.  The property’s meeting services feature Complete Meeting Packages which include all the standard services of the meeting rooms and Conference Center as well as lodging, three complete meals per day and two deluxe continuous breaks per day.  In addition, guests can take advantage of the “all-season playground” of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area with a wide variety of activities including hiking, biking and Sternwheeler cruises along the Columbia River in the summer; skiing and snowshoeing in the winter; and golfing, fishing and whitewater rafting all year long for outdoor enthusiasts.
