SUMMER CONCERTS AT SKAMANIA LODGE
Romantic Getaways and Discount Packages Available for Concertgoers
Stevenson, Wash. - (June 09, 2009) - Skamania Lodge, a Pacific Northwest mountain resort located east of Portland, Ore. in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area, will celebrate summer by hosting Summer Concerts at Skamania Lodge, a series of concerts running at 7 p.m. every Friday or Saturday night from July 4, 2009 through September 4, 2009. Presented by CNW Construction, Summer Concerts at Skamania Lodge are held at the Skamania Lodge Amphitheater overlooking the Columbia River Gorge.
Guests may enhance their experience with a romantic overnight getaway that includes one night accommodations at Skamania Lodge, two reserved concert seats, a blanket and a picnic basket with cheese, bread, fruit and a bottle of wine to be enjoyed in the Amphitheater. Rates for the overnight package start at $259 per couple. In addition, package discounts are available for guests who choose to experience multiple performances. Rates start at $492 (five-percent discount) for two concerts and range to $1,320.90 (15-percent discount) for a six concert season pass. Package rates are based on double occupancy.

- o Pepe and the Bottle Blondes - an eclectic Copacabana style' ensemble of saxophones, congas and percussion, trumpets, and three-part harmonies that revive the atmosphere of 1950s nightclubs
- Friday, July 31 at 7 p.m.
- o Scott Fisher - a sophisticated pop artist whose keyboard prowess and progressive vision is drawing wide support for his second national release Step into the Future
- Friday, August 7 at 7 p.m.
- o Aaron Meyer - a cutting edge concert rock violinist who bridges world, progressive rock and classical styles
- Friday, August 21 at 7 p.m.
- o Soul Vaccination - the Pacific Northwest's hottest funk and soul, featuring covers of Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin and Earth Wind & Fire
- Friday, September 4 at 7 p.m.
- o Michael Harrison - a composer and pianist highly regarded for his work with pure intonation and Indian classical styles
- o Tom Grant - a master instrumentalist and natural entertainer who nimbly walks the line between traditional jazz and modern pop
- Advance ticket prices are $8.00 general admission and $12.00 for reserved seats. Day of show ticket prices are $10.00 general admission and $15.00 for reserved seats.
