Columbia River Gorge Wild Flowers are in Bloomphoto

The Columbia River Gorge region has some of the best vistas for scenic photography.  With wild flower season in full-bloom, Skamania Lodge IT Director, Henry Kammetler, took these beautiful photos while out and about in the Gorge yesterday.

The two color photos were taken at Tom McCall Ridge which is just outside Mosier, OR. The black and white photo was taken on the Catherine Creek Trail just outside of Bingen, WA.

He explained he’d heard about a place called Skamania Lodge and that he would like to visit there someday. Three months later, I surprised Michael with a trip to Skamania. It was our very first getaway together as a couple.
