As the leaves begin to change color and the tempature drops in the Columbia Gorge as cool crisp autumn winds find their way to the lodge, I thought it might be appropriate to pause and discuss fall weddings and what better way to do that then a new look for the blog. September and October are quickly becoming some of the best months for weddings. You can’t beat the beautiful Columbia River Gorge on sunny (but not scorching) fall day. You can use the seasons as your inspiration and theme for the whole wedding. Bonnie, from Bloomsbury Flower Shop in Stevenson, Wa, put together stunning Fall arrangements for Ann & Ira’s wedding on Saturday. She incorprated orange Lilies with maple leaves and berries into a tall glass vase. She placed a some curly willow admist the greenery and added a touch of a deep red rose and a burnt orange sunflower to bring it to life. The centerpieces warmed up the Chocolate Brown table linens and the whole room just gleemed with Fall beauty.
