We wanted to make sure to say THANK YOU so much to you and your amazing staff for coordinating, decorating, creating and directing the most amazing wedding ever!!!! You were all truly wonderful. Tom and I commented so many times on the honeymoon how incredibly grateful we were for your calm, fun, kind and gentle demeanor and how we felt like we had the BEST professionals all around - coordinators, photographers, dj, officiant, etc. Our wedding felt like the perfect day and it was made even more complete by having you and your team there to make sure it all flowed smoothly and seamlessly. Thanks for checking in throughout the night, for remaining unfazed and flexible in the schedule and for offering such great service. You guys blew us out of the water with your hard work, can-do attitudes, positive energy and incredible customer service. I hope the event wasn't too exhausting or overwhelming.
Erica and Christian were married at Skamania Lodge in a beautiful spring wedding, on Skamania's breathtaking lawn overlooking the Columbia River Gorge, with temperatures of 70 degrees. A destination wedding, the couple shared their special day with guests who traveled from all over to share in their happy day.
We truly enjoyed helping Erica and Christian plan their wonderful blend of rustic & organic wedding and are pleased to share this note from the lovely couple.
And The Winner Is…
The winners have been announced and we are smiling ear to ear. I am proud to say that Skamania Lodge has been voted Best Sunset Wedding and Best Northwest Wedding Venue in Oregon! Here comes my Academy acceptance speech: “Thank you to everyone who made this possible. We have such amazing clients and wonderful people that we surround ourselves with to make every special day flawless.”
The event was decked out in yellow, black and white accented with citrus all around with stunning rentals by West Coast Event Productions. Uncommon Invites let us know about the event in advance with a stunning rhinestone shimmering invitation and I sipped on Willamette Valley Vineyards Pinot Noir as I stood proudly among Portland’s premier vendors. Despite the 100 degree weather, there was about 150 in attendance, ready to cheer on all.
Among my crowd? Ryan from Focal Point Digital Media won two awards: Best All Around Wedding Vendor and Best Videographer for the Valley. Cherie Ronning, owner of Uncommon Invites, voted Best Invitation. Jennifer Rand-Walker, owner of Face Body Beauty, won Best Hair and Makeup for the Valley. It was quite the winning table!
What a great evening and amazing honor to be apart of such an incredible group of talented people. Check out more about the event at www.OregonBrideMagazine.com or pick up a copy of the Best Of Magazine today!
PS: I’m still smiling.
