COVID-19 Update: Temporary Resort Closure March 22nd – May 30th
March 19th, 2020
During this rapidly changing COVID-19 situation, our highest priority is the health and well-being of our guests and associates. After carefully reviewing the CDC, WHO, Washington State guidelines and consulting with our ownership group, Skamania Lodge has made the proactive decision to temporarily close the resort beginning at 1pm on Sunday, March 22nd. The lodge will reopen on June 1st. This has been a very difficult decision to make, but we do so out of an abundance of caution for our community.
Minimal staffing will be sustained throughout the closure for ongoing guest communication and to ensure resort facilities are maintained and secure.
For all guests with reservations from March 22nd through May 31st, we will contact you directly to cancel and refund your reservation or to reschedule for future dates. New bookings will be available to make starting June 1st.
As more information around COVID-19 comes to light, we encourage you all to be proactive towards slowing the spread of the virus by following guidance provided by the CDC and practicing social distancing. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support and understanding during these difficult times.
Together, we will make it through this. We look forward to opening our doors to you once again.
Wishing you and your families good health,
Ken Daugherty, General Manager
