5:30 PM | Christmas Tree Lighting

Gather together as we light up the Lodge tree and officially welcome the holiday season.

7 PM | Dinner at River Rock Lounge

Enjoy a family-friendly dinner, from lodge favorites to comforting holiday-inspired dishes.

8 PM | S'mores by the Firepit

Gather by the firepit for gooey s’mores under the stars—a Skamania classic for kids and parents alike.

Day 2

10 AM | Grab Skamania-To-Go Brunch

Order a light breakfast and enjoy it together in your Treehouse. Sip on coffee or cocoa on your deck, nestled in the trees.

11 AM | Soak at Skamania Lodge’s outdoor hot tub

Enjoy the incredible outdoor hot tub overlooking the Columbia Gorge Mountains.

3:30 PM | Build-a-Friend Holiday Workshop

Create a furry friend to spend the holidays with! Tickets available in the Gift Shop!

5 PM | Thanksgiving Day Buffet – Cascade Dining Room

Celebrate Thanksgiving with an abundant buffet of holiday favorites, created by Skamania’s talented culinary team.

7 PM | Evening Relaxation

After the feast, check out a board game from the front desk, cozy up in your treehouse or head outdoors for stargazing and a family walk.

Day 3

8 AM | Breakfast at Big River Grill in Stevenson, WA

Kick off your morning with a delightful breakfast at Big River Grill in Stevenson. Enjoy a cozy atmosphere and a variety of delicious breakfast options to start your day.

10 AM | Polar Express Train Ride in Hood River, OR

The Polar Express train ride comes alive with interactive storytelling for all ages to enjoy the magic, laughter and fun on a train trip to the North Pole! The Conductor and joyful train stewards welcome pajama clad passengers for a magical, family-friendly journey. This train experience will capture the magic and the spirit of the Christmas season with its warmth and charm.

1 PM | Lunch at Thunder Island Brewing Co. in Cascade Locks, OR

Head to Thunder Island Brewing Co. in Cascade Locks for a delicious lunch. This family-friendly brewery offers a variety of tasty dishes and stunning views of the river.

2:45 PM | Ride on the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler

Take a scenic ride on the Columbia Gorge Sternwheeler from Cascade Locks. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Columbia River Gorge and learn about the region's history from the narrated tour. Have some snacks and drinks a-la-carte, and don’t forget to bundle up!

4 PM | Plaid Friday Shopping

Plaid Friday in Downtown Stevenson is a laid back and enjoyable alternative to Black Friday. On the day after Thanksgiving, shop or dine at participating locations in Downtown Stevenson and receive a reusable Love Local tote, enjoy merchant promotions & enter to win prizes!

6 PM | Dinner at River Rock Lounge

Enjoy a delicious dinner at the River Rock Lounge, featuring a variety of family-friendly dishes

7 PM | Listen to the Gift of Music

Gather with us in the Gorge Room to enjoy a range of festive, folk, jazz, pop and indie music.

9 PM | Skamania Lodge Holiday Light Walk

This enchanting walk takes you right through our Tree House Village, where the glow of lights transforms the forest into a winter wonderland.

Day 4

8 AM | Grab Skamania-To-Go Brunch

Start your day with a convenient and tasty breakfast to-go from Skamania Lodge, perfect for fueling up before your adventures.

11 AM | Visit Cedar Creek Alpacas for a Farm Tour

Free tours are offered Wednesday thru Sunday 11 am to 5 pm, where you will meet their sweet alpacas, learn about them, possibly feed them a treat and then a visit to the boutique and fiber studio to see all of the lovely products that are created with their fiber.

1 PM | Lunch at Everybody's Brewing in White Salmon, WA

Enjoy a delicious lunch at Everybody's. Their food has affordable large portions, made with the highest quality local ingredients, and a focus on approachable beers with all the flavor.

3 PM | Shopping in Downtown Hood River, OR

Spend the afternoon exploring the charming shops in downtown Hood River, OR, where you can find unique souvenirs and gifts to remember your trip.
