The Backyard

Experience the beauty of the Pacific Northwest in Skamania Lodge’s backyard, where there’s still plenty to explore this season. Take on the Little Eagle 18 Putting Course, play a round of disc golf, or head to Skamania Adventures for ziplining, axe throwing, the aerial course and e-bikes. While the Gorge 9 short course is temporarily closed for turf renovations (reopens May 8, 2027) and the Backyard Grill has closed for the season, the surrounding Columbia River Gorge still sets the stage for plenty of outdoor adventure.

The Backyard Grill

The Backyard Grill is now closed for the season. We look forward to welcoming you back next season.

During the season, The Backyard Grill at Skamania Lodge offers a relaxed, pet-friendly dining experience nestled in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge. Located just outside The Backyard Golf Shop & Skamania Adventures, it’s the perfect spot to refuel after a round on the Little Eagle 18 putting course or the scenic disc golf course.

The grill serves up casual, locally inspired bites and beverages, with patio seating, a fire pit and views of evergreen forests and the Red Bluff mountains. Whether grabbing a snack between adventures or relaxing after a day outside, The Backyard Grill offers a convenient and inviting place for all.
