Friday: Arrival, Spa Time & Welcome Drinks

4 PM | Check into the Villa

Book the Villa as your main base for the weekend. Tucked away in the trees, it has high ceilings, three bedrooms, three full baths, a full kitchen, and a private back patio with a fire pit. It gives plenty of room to unpack the dresses and suits, pour a glass of wine, and hang out with your inner circle before people start arriving.

Pro tip: Have your close family and important guests reserve the Treehouse Village cabins so your favorite people are tucked away in the forest right next door.

4:30 PM | Pre-Wedding Skin Prep at Waterleaf Spa

Slip over to Waterleaf Spa for a HydraFacial so your skin is hydrated and ready for photos on your big day! If your bridesmaids want to stay in their robes at the cabin, you can get at-home Patchology facial kits from our shop and champagne delivered right to The Villa patio.

6:30 PM | Sunset Drinks & Rehearsal Dinner

Kick things off on the Garden Patio with signature drinks and light bites as the sun goes down over the Columbia River Gorge. For dinner, head inside to a private dining room in the Cascade Dining Room for a local wine-paired meal, or host a casual wood-fired dinner outside under the beams at the Moonlight Pavilion.

Saturday: The Big Day

9 AM | Getting Ready & Morning Golf

Start the morning with coffee and breakfast before heading out for the day. Keep the pace slow and leave time to enjoy the forest and river views around the lodge.

9 AM | Pick Up Lunch To-Go for the Day Ahead

For You & the Bridesmaids

Spend a relaxed morning at The Villa. The huge windows bring in tons of natural light, giving your hair and makeup team a great setup. Order breakfast to the patio, put on a playlist, and take your time!

For the Groom & Groomsmen

Send the guys out for a morning round on The Gorge 9 golf course (or a casual match on The Little Eagle 18 putting course), followed by local beers and burgers at River Rock.

4:30 PM | The Ceremony

Say your vows with the mountains and river behind you at the Riverview Pavilion or Meadow Lawn. The resort team manages all the logistics, from setting up white chairs and water stations to handing out champagne toasts the second you walk back up the aisle.

6 PM | Dinner & Dancing

Move inside the Stevenson Ballroom (or stay outdoors under the open-air Pavilions) for dinner and dancing. The culinary team uses local Oregon and Washington ingredients for the menu, so the food feels personal to the Pacific Northwest.

10:30 AM | Farewell Brunch

Wrap up the weekend with an easy, sit-down outdoor brunch on the Garden Patio. Set up a champagne bar, order hot coffees, and catch up on all the best stories from the dance floor before everyone heads home.

1:30 PM | Before You Hit the Road

Once your guests hit the road, stick around for the afternoon. Spend a couple of hours soaking in the outdoor hot tubs and saunas at Waterleaf Spa, or take a quiet walk along the resort’s private forest trails.

  • What is the guest capacity for wedding venues at the resort?

    Whether you're planning an intimate mountain gathering or a large celebration, we have a space that fits your guest list:

    Stevenson Ballroom: Up to 350 seated guests with a dance floor.

    Riverview Pavilion: Up to 180 seated guests with a dance floor.

    Moonlight Pavilion: Up to 80 seated guests with a dance floor (or 200+ for cocktail-style receptions).

    Outdoor Lawns & Amphitheater: Up to 350 guests for outdoor ceremonies.

  • What happens if it rains on our big day?

    Pacific Northwest weather can change quickly, but you will not need to stress. Covered spaces like the Riverview Pavilion feature open-air mountain views, whole-tree wooden beams, built-in stone fireplaces, and overhead heaters, so you get all the nature while staying completely dry and cozy. The resort also has indoor ballrooms as reliable backup options.

  • Can we bring in our own outside catering or alcohol?

    To keep food service simple and delicious, all meals and bar options are provided directly by Skamania’s culinary team using local Pacific Northwest ingredients. Outside catering is not permitted, though you are welcome to bring your own wedding cake or dessert. Outside alcohol is also off-limits, with the exception of personal wine bottles, which carry a $30 corkage fee per bottle.

  • Are we required to hire a day-of wedding coordinator?

    Yes, Skamania Lodge requires couples to work with an independent day-of wedding coordinator. While our on-site resort team manages property logistics, venue setup, and catering, your coordinator takes care of your personal timeline, manages outside vendors, runs the rehearsal, and places all your personal decor so you can sit back and enjoy.
