Hunt for Wooden Mushrooms

Kids Foraging Adventure

As part of the Stevenson Mushroom Festival, join us on the Front Lawn at Skamania Lodge for a whimsical twist on an Easter egg hunt! Little explorers will search for hand-painted wooden mushrooms hidden throughout the lawn. Collection bags provided, or bring your favorite basket. This family-friendly activity is perfect for kids ages 2–8. Check in at the front desk when you arrive. Don’t forget to dress in your best fungi flair!

Build a Friend Workshops

Create a furry stuffed animal woodland friend or spooky stuffy to cuddle or to give to a special someone! Admission $30 per animal, tickets available in the Gift Shop, no reservations required. Openings available throughout workshop times.

Get Spooky at Skamania!

Halloween falls on a Friday this year, so come get cozy and join us for a festive, complimentary Halloween Movie Night! We’re showing the classic Hocus Pocus from 7 to 9 PM—complete with snacks and popcorn for purchase. Perfect for families, couples, or anyone looking to kick back and enjoy some seasonal magic and spooky vibes at the Lodge. Costumes encouraged!

Skamania’s own Freddie the Fungi has popped up all around the lodge! Explore high and low to spot this forest dwelling mushroom. Snap a photo of each one you spot, then show them at the front desk to win your fun prize
