If you want to be up, up and away in the trees, look no further than the newly built Treehouse cabins of Skamania Lodge West. These two new treehouses are the tallest of our village, reaching 40 feet into the towering Douglas Firs trees above. Their elevation provides views even more spectacular than you can imagine, as they overlook the stunning Cascade Mountains and the beautiful old-growth forest that surrounds Skamania. Crawl into the "nook" and gaze out the large bay windows to feel like a kid playing in the trees. Sip your morning coffee or enjoy a glass of wine by the dual-facing indoor/outdoor fireplace that will keep you warm all seasons. Embrace the peacefulness of the spacious deck and sitting area that invites you to relax and unplug in nature. At the end of the evening, reconnect at your private forest firepit to roast a s’mores or two and share stories around the fire.
