Wedding Venue FAQs

What is the capacity of the wedding venues? 

  • Riverview Pavilion: Up to 180 guests with a dance floor.
  • Moonlight Pavilion: Up to 80 guests with a dance floor.
  • Stevenson Ballroom: Customizable in size, seats up to 350 guests with a dance floor, and can also accommodate smaller, more intimate gatherings.
  • For cocktail-style welcome receptions, both Pavilions can host more than 200 guests.

How many hours are included with the rental? Your rental includes 6 hours of event time, plus 2 additional hours prior for setup.


How late can the reception go? 

  • Riverview Pavilion: Until 10:00 PM 
  • Moonlight Pavilion: Until 11:00 PM 
  • Ballrooms (Indoors): Until 12:00 AM

Do you allow outside catering? No, outside catering is not permitted, with the exception of your wedding cake or dessert. Our culinary team is happy to customize a menu to suit your preferences.


Can we bring our own alcohol? Outside alcohol is not permitted. The only exception is wine, subject to a $30.00 corkage fee per bottle.


Are getting-ready rooms available on-site? Yes! We offer a variety of guestrooms, including suites, cabins, a treehouse, and a Villa. You may get ready in your reserved overnight guestroom. For a seamless wedding morning, we highly recommend arriving the night before.


Do you require certain vendors? We do require the use of our onsite catering services. Otherwise, you are welcome to select your own vendors with approval from your Skamania Lodge Event Manager. For guidance, view our recommended vendor list—all trusted professionals who are very familiar with our property.


Do we need a day-of coordinator? Yes, a day-of coordinator is required to:

  • Understand your plans and collaborate with our team as needed 
  • Coordinate the rehearsal
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all vendors and the Lodge’s Event team on the wedding day 
  • Oversee setup, décor, and placement of personal items 
  • Manage the timeline and gather groups/vendors at scheduled times
  • Ensure personal items are collected at the end of the event

What is included with the Venue Rental and Catering Packages?

  • Ceremony site with white chairs
  • Reception space for dinner and dancing with tables and chairs
  • Water station at ceremony site
  • Champagne toast for all adults 21+ (up to guaranteed count)
  • Cake cutting and service 
  • Up to 18’ x 18’ dance floor
  • Votive candles for tables 
  • Non-alcoholic beverage station
  • One (1) hour of ceremony rehearsal time
  • One (1) complimentary King Guestroom night for the wedding couple
